Default Street Glide tire questions

I have a 2009 SG with 12,000 miles on it. Just got inspected and the rear is getting close to needing replaced.

I have some questions:

1. Is 12,000 miles a decent average for a rear tire on this bike?

2. Is the Dunlop original equipment tire the best choice for a replacement?

3. Will a bigger tire fit...say a 200?

4. Is it OK to run a radial in the back with a bias in front...not ready to replace the front yet.

5. What, i n your opinion, is the best tire for this bike?

Thanks for your input. I appreciate it

get dunlop elite 3's. I got them from jake wilson.com and had them installed at the dealer for around $300 total for front and rear. I didnt need a front but replaced it anyway. I got 11,ooo miles out of my rear and I have been known to have a reckless start every now and then. I think you will find the majority of responces you get will concur that the e3's are the way to go

If you don't have luck there, let me know what tires you need. We order and ship a ton of tires with our wheels, so we get a pretty good break on them. PM me for tire pricing. Thanks!
