Default White Walls!

Well it is time once again, it is time to change out tires. I want to stay with white walls. So, is there a better white wall tire out there than the Harely Dunlop? That is what I replaced them with last time. I would like your opinion on different brands. Thanks.

Metzler or Avon out perform the dunlop, I've been running Avon and love the look and grip, however I just had a front tire start to separate on me, I'm doing a search now to see if it is an isolated situation or if they are having quality issues, will let you know

The Metzler is a harder tire, so it will get good tread life. The Avon is a soft compound and handles a bit better. Depends on your style of riding.

Ain't nothing wrong with the Dunlops from what I can tell. I've ridden 79k using 'em on my personal bike and an unknown number of miles on a work bike. No complaints at all as far as wet or dry riding goes or mileage life.

Default tires

I tried a Michelin Commander once and got 4,000 less miles then the Dunlop. Stick with the Dunlop.
