Are there any differences in how a CT is mounted on a bike wheel verses a MT? Are there any 195/65-16 tires to choose from other than the Dunlop 5000 or Touranza?

 

No difference. A Honda dealer mounted mine, seated the bead at 34 PSI, and it fit just about perfect.
There may be more tires other than those, I didn't look too much once I read the reviews for the Dunlop 5000 on Tirerack.com

Vredestein Comtrac 175/75-16 any new resources for this tire everywhere i look its not available ...and will this run on my '05 road king custom ?

 

Try this site mate. It should work if you're running mag wheels. Probably need a tube if running spokes or you could seal them. Be sure to get the radial tire. 175/75R/16. On second thought; I'm not sure if it will work on a Road King. Definitely works on the Softails of the same year. Check out this thread for more info.

This is the tire I'll be running when the rear tire wears out on the bike I'm riding.

550R16 Excelsior Stahl Sport Radial from Coker tires with tube on stock 3" rim.
Diameter - 26.5"
5.9 total width, 4.3 tread width
Still experimenting with pressure, currently 34psi

 

I like the looks of that tire , how has it been doing
