Default Bearing Shim Part Numbers (HELP PLZ)

Okay in parts kit 41455-08C it calls for a 41450-08 shim for the front wheel on a 2008 and up Dyna.
You cannot buy this shim. Harley doesn't even list it as a valid part number.

For the rear it calls for a 43904-08 (Rear Bearing Shim), and you can buy this shim. It is readily available. Also you can buy the 43903-08 (Front Bearing Shim) 2008 Touring model.

My question is this. Does anyone know if 43903-08 and 41450-08 are the same part?

If you can help. Plz let me know.

What do you mean "it calls for?" Where does it state that?

In the installation instructions. In the PDF.

If you read down you have these ** in the "J" field for the front. Then it says to install the shim, and give the part number. Are you saying it is not needed.

Read down for the installation to 2008 and above Dyna. Please give some more insight on this.

Thank you for that information. Why in the world is it listing a 41450-08 for my '08 and up Dyna? Could you discuss that?
Do you see in the instructions where it calls for that part?

Also plz take a look at this: http://www.google.com/search?q=41450-08&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&aq=t&rls=org.mozilla:en-USfficial&client=firefox-a#sclient=psy&hl=en&client=firefox-a&hs=ONr&rls=org.mozilla:en-US%3Aofficial&q=41450-08+bearing+shim&aq=f&aqi=&aql=&oq=&pbx=1&bav=on.2, or.r_gc.r_pw.&fp=80ab9cbe03966427

I see that, but it is not listed in the parts breakdown for that kit. I also see under that kit for "J" it shows ** for dyna instead of an amount, but all the other amounts for "J" show 0. The notes for ** only state "bearing shim installed under the primary bearing." I don't know for sure, but I'm guessing you don't need it. If it is needed, then it has to be a misprint for that part number.

I see now.. Damn I feel stupid. ** says to read the "NOTES" under the Installation section, and if your "KIT" is listed you need those parts. Well my "KIT" isn't listed. So I do not need those shims. That is the way I am reading it, and if it was needed the *** means to install the shim under the primary bearing. Is that you way you are reading it?

By golly I think we figured it out, and I can go on with my install in the morning.

I swear Harley manual jump around more than any other manual I have ever seen.. The Service Manual does the same thing.
