Replaced the OE Michelin Scorchers on my 2010 FXDC with 9600 miles on them with the Commander II. The Scorchers rode fine, but these feel like they have a softer ride. One big difference is that the Commanders aren't affected by seams/grooves in the road like the Scorchers. No twitch in the bars at all. Handling seems to be a little better, but I'll put them to the test next week when we head to the mountains. Even though I didn't need them, I replaced the stock pads with EBC since everything was apart. Noticeable difference in braking (smoother & requires less pressure).

Default So far so good!

No comparison to the stock Dunlop 401's that were on my bike when I bought it (both tires almost new FYI). I also will admit I updated my forks with new Progressive springs and new brake pads at the same time. I disliked the Dunlops from day one compared to the Bridgestone BT-45's on my CBX. Very hard tire and less grip IMO. Regardless, after 75 miles on the new CII's and after taking 3M tire and wheel cleaner to them to reduce the mold release on the tires I took the bike thru my 26 mile short cruise with lots of twistys and cannot complain. Very happy so far!

The price seems to be right. I can get a set for my sporty on revzilla for $233. If they really get 20,000 miles, that is the best deal ever.

Ok ..I've got about 2000 miles on mine now ....rode through Tennessee..mississippi..Louisiana...Texas...Arkans as...I will say I really like these tires ..I have been running the original commanders ..they were good tires ..the ll 's seems to be smoother ..grip more ..I also liked that the new ones mounted better ..I give the commander ll a really great review ..$224 shipped to the door ..dynamic beads for balancing ..smooth rolling .....later I'm goin riding ..

So far I am happy with these - Rode through rain, strong wind and nice weather - Rode various types of roads and freeway - Have over 1500 miles and they handled well - smooth, grip nice and like some of the other posts, cannot feel the freeway rain grooves...Now, just want to see how many miles I will get -
