leaking brake bleeder valve

Has anyone had a issue with their bleeder valve leaking? Mine is leaking on my front caliper. I have tried to tighten it, but it is still leaking. Any suggestions?

Only that there may be dirt on the seat where the nipple should seal. I would remove the caliper, clean it thoroughly, including the hole where the nipple fits. If the tip of the nipple looks rough replace it. Best of luck.

BEFORE YOU PULL THE CALIPER APART...

Have you washed the caliper off around the bleeder or just wiped it off? Moisture in the air could make it look wet again if you didn't get it all wiped off.

Another possibility could the residual in the bleeder valve is now coming out from when you last bled the brakes (have you done it recently?). Did you stick the corner of a paper towel or use a Q-tip to remove the brake fluid in the valve before you capped it?
