As far as the front ...
Use Brembo Cals as you mention with the 11.8" rotors on the 2017 front wheel. Then either get all 25mm parts (see Post #1) to complete the "Install" OR you can use your 1" axle with 1" bearings and custom wheel spacers.
If you want more info on the 1" parts, email me multihdrdr@gmail.com (since you can't PM yet)

I'm just going through the paces of this myself, what a great thread!
multihdrdr,I just installed a new rear tire, however next time around, I'd like to consider the 18" rear airstrike conversion. Do you have a website, FB page, or is your machining and tinkering just a side hobby? Looks like you're pretty busy with it, as well as thourough.

multihdrdr- I was at a swap meet this past weekend, came across these wheels at a smoking deal! They are 2008 Street Glide wheels. each one is 16x3" I determined the rear, it has larger bolt holes on the pulley side. You seem to have a better grip on this, What should I be looking to do to swap the rear to my 2006 road glide in place of the 16" silver wagon wheel? My understanding is that (the front airstrike wheel) has a different offset built into it than the wagon wheel I'd guess that the same would be true of the rear. The airstrikes do have 25mm bearings installed, my wagon wheel is currently mounted up with the 1" axle and wide bearings, the 06 has a solid pulley to the best of my knowledge, the airstrike doesn't have a pulley, not sure if it would've had cushdrive or if that would be dimensionally different. I appreciate your insight!

Well done finding those wheels! On my 1990 Glide I swapped the front sliders for 2007 ones and have installed a later 18" front SG wheel. I swapped it over to 1" bearings and it fits fine. At the rear I have squeezed in a 17" Deuce rear, also with 1" bearings, using a 2007 swingarm and later 2-piece Brembo (with a custom axle spacer). On my bike it has all gone together just fine.
