Thanks! Im searching for a new set of tires as we speak. Whats the avg mileage on a set of stock tires.

I really don't think there is such a thing as an average mileage on tires. You can find people who get as little as 4000 miles on a set of tires all the way up to 20,000 miles. It all depend on your style of riding and the type of bike along with the particular brand of tire. Some of the softer tires handle and ride better but you sacrifice mileage. Several manufactures like Dunlop have come out with multi compound tires with a tread that is hard in the center and softer on the sides. Do a search on your particular bike and see what you come up with.

I ride an 02 Wide Glide and my research says the Metzler 880's are good. It seems every tire I find has mixed reviews. I suppose its really a matter of opinion.

That's the way of life! Some riders want high mileage above all else, while others want better grip, comfort, handling, etc. Some of us ride taking it easy, while others like to give their tyres a hard time. Best to ride and enjoy!

I use this site. http://steelthundercc.com/tiresizes.html
That other one is cool, but I think its more for cars. If you look at top and do make model thing, there is nothing for Harleys.

It will work on any size tires regardless of vehicle.
