As mentioned I need to touch up the paint a little, but this operates all three openers I needed to open. Top button, the entry gate to my road, middle for house garage, and bottom for workshop.

Made a couple photo op stops to enjoy the scenery. Pozo saloon is s popular spot, normally. Any non covid Sunday, and there would be a row of bikes out front.

New horse in the stable this morning. I need to wash it and the car beside it today.

This was a perfectly clean windshield when I left this morning.

I tried to show the inside. You can see the smaller hole in the back. This is where the screw will go to hold it to the handlebars at the master cylinder.

Holding the lock against the 27/64" hole. There is a very short of non threaded beginning to the lock, and it just fits in the hole. The threads should cut perfectly. The nut will not be used, its just on there so I do not lose it.

This is the thread rod, with the smooth part being the lock. I will cut that part off once the hole is threaded. I use the lathe to insure the threads start perfectly straight.

This is the tool before using, duh I used my 4.5" angle grinder with cutoff blade to make a slot for the webbing. I used a propane torch to melt the ends of the webbing together. The melted part slides down, tightly, into the slot.

The vertical lights are LED. They work in conjunction with both tail and brake lights. No equalizer was added.

Mock mounted in the brackets. Its fully in position, in them, just no screws in it. The legs are drilled and tapped to 1/4-20 threads, the same as the sissy bar. Hard to tell in this pic, but the flat top of the rack, is at the same angle as the top of the saddle bags. I put the side braces on because I am thinking of building my own trunk for it and covering it in fake leather, like the saddlebags. I cannot find one large enough for 2 FF helmets, at least that I can afford.

The main frame, from the legs all the way around, and the cross bar on the left are solid 1/2" steel. The 2 center cross bars are 1/2" steel .060" tubing. The flat side braces are 1/8"x 1.5" steel flat bar.

This is how I thought it was supposed to go. When I had the forks apart before, the bottom stop (the cup) never came out, so this was the first time I had to deal with it.

This is how the bottom stop is SUPPOSED to go.

Just so everyone does not think I was crazy to drill the dampers out in the first place. The short ones were my OEM damper tubes. I figured the new ones should be like that too.

I thought of adding a layer of gloss black, high heat over the flat, because there is no other flat black on the bike. But I decided I like it this way.
