Started as a basket 28yrs ago and has been evolving ever since , no end in sight I hope .
Engine/Drivetrain Modifications:
Went from 74" @ 150,000 mi. to 88" for another 175,000 mi. metal fatigue and too much happy hand got the stock cases at last so we went Hi-PO dual plugged 93" at about 90hp .600" lift cam 11 - 1 comp. and I kick start her regular one kick 2 tops takes all 235lbs of me . Dual belt drive with primary modded so I can change the primary belt in about 15 mins on the side of the road , they are going to break so I buy 2 at a time :)~ and have one in the tool bag constantly . Aftermarket Diagram Clutch by Sifton with 6 plate Kevlar clutch & a Ramjett retainer, this is the bomb for shovel clutch's no stupid what so ever , 2 fingers in or out and hooks up real well . Modified the swing arm for the rear belt everybody said wouldn't work on an old bike , 3/4" wider and longer & tricked the shock mounts a little while there too . Close ratio trans gearing , custom made dual 4 piston rear caliper set up , I was bored one weekend what can I say ...
Suspension Modifications:
60mm inverted front end by Marzocchi fully adjustable and 4" over . I like my bike to sit high I'm a combat rider meaning if you have to go bumping over things at speed no problem and I use all the chicken strip on the side of the tires without dragging anything or throwing sparks . Low is cool at the bar curb I guess and straight lines but life isn't that way now is it ?
Akront air shocks with pump , fun getting the air pump on cleanly there isn't much spare room on her . And list goes on and I have no idea where it will end if ever .........
Wheels/Tires Modifications:
