5 Harley-Davidson Easter Eggs Hidden on the bikes
It's spring time and the children of all ages love Easter egg hunts. See where Harley-Davidson hides some of their Easter egg features on the bikes. Where have you found some?
1. Bar and Shield in Audio Screen
Hidden features on websites, video games, and DVDs were first called Easter eggs because they were a hidden treat for fans. The motor company also hides treats for their fans in the form of logos around the bike. The first example of a Harley-Davidson Easter egg - the Harley-Davidson bar and shield logo in an audio screen on the dashboard of the touring bikes.

2. Street 500 and 750 Speedometer and Handebar
The new Street 500 and 750 are just as much a Harley as the big bikes. To remind you you are on the genuine article, the motor company puts a little bar and shield on the handlebar clamp, another on the face of the speedometer, and finally, the name Harley-Davidson written along the bottom, under the odometer.

3. Harley-Davidson Brembo Calipers
Is this one really an Easter egg? One the front caliper of all the late model bikes are these small buttons with the bar and shield and company name on them. The hidden part is that these are actually world class Brembo parts, dressed up special for Harley-Davidson's use.

4. Headlamp Easter Egg
Harley could have cheaped out and used a generic 7 inch diameter halogen headlight on their lower models, but they didn't. The crystal clear headlight lens on all late model Harleys without the LED headlights has a small metal button complete with the bar and shield right in the middle of it.

5. Dunlop and Michelin Tires
Harley-Davidson is the only bike maker that gets its tires custom molded for them, with their name and logo in the sidewall. Depending on the brand and tire model, some times they have little bar and shield emblems in the actual tread too.
