1. Pacific Coast Highway

One thousand miles of road can take you from the California/Mexico border north to the California/Oregon border. The problem is having to deal with traffic in San Diego, San Francisco and especially Los Angeles. However, the 200 miles between San Luis Obispo and San Francisco is considered one of the top 10 rides in the United States. You can leave civilization in your wake as you cruise the winding two-lane road overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Along the way, you will see seals playing on beautiful beaches as the tide rolls onto the beach, pass through mountainous cliffs and further up north you can ride in the shade through redwood forests.

2. Great Ocean Road - Australia

This ride begins in Melbourne. It takes you only a day to ride up to Peterborough. On your trip, see beaches that offer the biggest surfing waves in the world. Follow the winding roads along the rain forests until you reach Shipwreck Coast.

3. California and the American West - Route 66

This trip offers you a vision of American majesty with plenty of variety. You will pass through the greenery and trees of our national parks, view snow-capped mountains in the Sierra-Nevada, the old west in Arizona, the Mojave desert and the Grand Canyon.

4. Appalachian Ride - New Orleans to New York

This tour runs 11 - 15 days. It begins in the Big Easy (New Orleans), ventures through Alabama country, then natural beautiful consisting of mountainous landscapes never marred by human habitation. Loads of natural scenery on this ride with a mostly rural populace.

5. Cape Town, South Africa

Southern Africa is a melting pot of a variety of cultures. Meet interesting people along the path of what is called the Rainbow Nation.

6. Grand Canyon Park

From the Little Colorado River Gorge to Cameron prepare for great views. that go from good to breathtaking. Some of the attractions include Desert View, Mary Colter's Watchtower, Mather Point - and of course sunrise and sunset is visually stunning. You can stop and buy some pottery, go backpacking, camping or whitewater rafting if you decide to stay awhile. The biggest problem you will have is deciding when to stop to take more pictures - which will be constantly.

7. New Zealand - Southland

At the south tip of the Australian-New Zealand Continent, check out the winding roads that take you on a picturesque experience in the local areas of Central Otago and Southland.

8. Chasing Che, Cuba

This communist island nation lying just off the Florida coastline has recently reopened for American tourism. American influence is interwoven throughout the Cuban culture. You will see plenty of classic American cars on your ride mixed with old world ox carts as you travel from Havana to Baracoa - a seaport town where you can barter for cigars, salsa and much more.
