9 Eyepopping Harley-Davidson Outdoor Ads
Harley barely needs to advertise; they are one of the most recognizable brands in the world. Maybe they are just trying to help those who can't ride through the winter? With these billboards you can almost feel the wind on your face.
1. Ride the Beast
Embrace your wild side, and grab the bull by the horns. Except, when you ride a Harley it is like being in complete control of a powerful charging bull, not like holding on for dear life as it tries to buck you off.
2. 80 Miles Per Gallon
Back in the day, you could stop at Schaber's bike shop, pick yourself up a Harley-Davidson, and travel safely anywhere you want, getting 80 miles per gallon. Back then it wasn't the cost of gas, it was that there may not be another place to buy it (often times at the drug store) for 200 miles. We don't know about you, but we are sold.
3. Harley-Davidson Culture
The leather jackets, the boots, and the helmets catch people's eyes, but Harley-Davidson is there to tell you that it is not a style, it is a culture. Harley riders aren't some johnny-come-lately trying to look stylish, they are hard core. Will you join the culture?
4. Burning Rubber and Showing Off
This billboard advertises a Harley-Davidson product show and festival, and it is hard to read because a badass on a Harley is doing a burnout. Those who know already know about the show anyway. Well done, Harley Davidson.
5. 110 Years Old and Still Kicking
Nothing speaks of Harley's success more than dominating the motorcycle industry for 110 years. Harley-Davidson established their reputation way back in 1903, and all these years later they are still going strong.
6. The Open Road Awaits
Harley-Davidson may have gotten this idea from the Road Runner cartoons. This billboard is showing you a small taste of that wide opened road you could be heading down on your motorcycle, regardless of which Harley you choose.
7. Ride Hard or Stay Home
Since the beginning, Harley-Davidson has been serious about motorcycles. If you want a scooter or a tiddler, you can go somewhere else, like Honda, because Harley-Davidson is not interested in making soft bikes for soft people.
8. Harley-Davidson Rentals
Harley-Davidson is giving people a small taste of the various styles of their different motorcycles on this billboard, and advertising that now you can rent a Harley and hit the open road. Why rent a Harley you may ask? As the billboard says, "because you can't feel the wind on your knuckles in a rental car." Also, try as you might, you can't ride to Hawaii.
9. Legendary
It takes something special to be called legendary. Harley-Davidson has stood the test of time and they know motorcycles, and they know their riders, and therefore they know rider gear. This image of a man out there alone, way beyond where the pavement ends suggests that a Harley is just a different type of adventure bike.
