1. EagleRider Rentals

EagleRider has been leading the motorcycle rental industry since 1992. The company specializes in Harley-Davidson rentals, however, that isn't all they do. They also offer other brands for rent like Indian, Honda, and BMW, as well as various dirt bikes, ATVs, and even scooters. EagleRider has been rapidly growing, and with over 100 locations, you can now find them almost anywhere, especially inside various Harley dealerships they collaborate with.

2. Average Cost of Rentals

The cost of renting a motorcycle from EagleRider varies, depending on the type of motorcycle, model, and the date you're renting it on. However, it seems like $79 can get you a scooter, small bore Japanese bikes are a bit more than $100 a day, Sportsters and Scouts start at $120, and approximately $150 will rent you a Harley-Davidson Street Glide or other big bike. Of course the price can easily jump up as you add insurance, and other incidental costs.

3. Requirements

Before you start racing to the nearest EagleRider location, there are some requirements that you need to meet before taking off into the wind. First, you must have a motorcycle license, which means you can't rent a motorcycle with just your permit or reputation. Also, upon renting the motorcycle, you have to leave a credit card deposit of between $100 and $2,000, which will be returned when you bring back the bike. Finally, you have to be at least 21 years of age.

4. Club EagleRider

Based on the rental prices, it could get pricy to rent a motorcycle, especially if you want to go on a long trip. Join Club EagleRider, and the rental fee is automatically discounted by 25%, and that is just the start. Membership is simple, with a one-time initiation fee of $29, followed by $29 per month, which pays for itself with the money you save if you rent a bike for 12 days a year. But, membership includes a free one day per month rental, for a total of 12 days per year, plus one free day on your birthday. Intrigued yet? You'll be happy to know that every month your unused free day rolls over, for up to 24 months, so you can wait and use them all at once for a month long tour.

5. Membership Benefits

Being a part of club EagleRider means you can have a different motorcycle for each month. One month I can cruise on an Electra Glide, and the next you can ride BMW adventure touring bike, or a carve canyons on a sport bike. You also get discounts on EagleRider's group tours and other travel services.

Finally, being a member of EagleRider also means you enjoy discounts on apparel, motorcycle services, tours, and purchase of former rental bikes.
