Big Cat

These days, when most folks hear the words Black Panther, they think of the famous movie hero. But this custom bike from German outfit Thunderbike, which bears that very name, wasn't designed to mimic Marvel's superhero. Rather, it was designed to look like the giant cat that roams certain parts of this earth.

Single Hue

Thus, it makes perfect sense that this two-wheeled creation is pretty much completely blacked out. The bits and pieces of this Softail Breakout that didn't come in black were painted or powder coated in that hue, giving it a sleek and understated look that's also quite timeless.

Hunker Down

The Harley was also fitted with an air suspension, which gives it the ability to raise and lower itself up to four inches, sorta like, you know, a Black Panther. It also allows the bike to hunker down quite nicely over that fat rear tire when it isn't moving for a pretty sweet look.

Several Additions

While quite a few stock components remain, there are over 30 custom additions to this particular build. That includes a fatter rear fender from Thunderbike, along with the builder's seat plate, license plate frame, front fender, LED turn signals, upper fork cover, headlight cap, forward controls, and fork lowering kit, to name a few.

In addition to all of those Thunderbike-supplied goodies, this Softail also carries a few other parts from various sources. They include a Dr. Jekill & Mr. Hyde exhaust system, Harley-Davidson Willie G Skull Derby Cover, and Metzeler ME888 rear tire measuring in at 260/40.

Mild but Awesome

Add it all up, and you've got a pretty slick Softail Breakout that retains much of its original character without going too overboard. At the same time, it's certain to draw a fair amount of attention wherever it goes as a unique ride that won't go out of style any time soon.
