Evisu and Warr Collaborate for One-of-a-Kind Sprinter

What happens when Europe's oldest official Harley-Davidson dealership gets together with premium denim label Evisu? A fine vintage bike named the Kamome Sprinter is what!

It sure is pretty

The Evisu Warr's Harley-Davidson mission statement reads just like you would expect it to with every detail crafted in a way to have a purpose and be meaningful towards the final product. Warr is famous for their engineering and how it is shown through the design and crafting of their bikes. Evisu is synonymous with luxury and high-grade materials that blend together to make timeless pieces. To mark Evisu's 20th anniversary the brand appointed Warr, which has been an HD dealer since the 1920's to create build a special one-off bike. The Kamome Sprinter is the motorcycle that was produced from the partnership and is the piece that exudes both vintage flair and modern aggression.

If you are a fan of Evisu you'll notice the details

Every aspect of the bike has detailing that is a reward for those who take the time to gaze a little longer. Hand engraved engine covers, Koi scales, crashing waves and dragons dot the metal surfaces of the bike at first glance. A deeper look will get you views of more Evisu influences with symbols and characters from the brand's 20-year life thus far. All of the plating is done on the bike in a warm mirror like Nickel plating that covers the gas tank, hand-rolled fenders, and the handlebars. That treatment went even further with every nut, bolt, and washer receiving the same attention.

It makes sense that the denim is in there

Evisu denim was implemented in the process by using the material to wrap the brake lines and clutch cable. More of the pricey material was used to run along the center of the gas tank where it meets the battery cover that sits under a hand-sprung solo antique brown leather-clad saddle. The battery cover tucks away the ECM, battery and fuse box of the bike.

Looking pretty fancy

The wheels on the bike are wrapped in Firestone tires and are finished off in a satin black to compliment the same motif of the scallop design on the nickel plated gas tank and Springer front fork. The bike is a complete masterpiece and was built with so much skill, knowledge, and history. The bike was handbuilt by Charlie Stockwell himself from Warr H-D and was displayed at King's Road showroom along with the Evisu store on Savile Row. The bike was purchased by a Formula One racing driver who is a long-standing customer of Charlie and Warr's.

A bespoke bike

"Synonymous with luxurious craftsmanship and one-off design, The Evisu Warr’s Harley-Davidson Motorbike, aptly named the Kamome Sprinter, showcases a darkened harmonic combination of past vintage styles with modern functionality and celebrates the creativity and hand-made practices for which both brands are famous,” a statement from Evisu reads.

“Welding, carving, bending metal; stitching, riveting denim, and embossing and treating leather – the Evisu heritage is celebrated throughout the entire motorcycle and the same technical exactness that Evisu rule by was taken into account throughout the design and ultimately drove Warr’s Harley- Davidson to create this one-off custom motorcycle,” it further adds.
