Front End Modifications

Outside of the U.S., this bike is the most respected product in HDs arsenal. The builder of this Street fighter is Rajputana Customs located in Jaipur City, which is some 186 miles south of Harley's Haryana factory coincidentally where the Street is built. To begin the very first custom Street 750, Rajputana replaced the forks with Suzuki GSX-R forks, which offers 25% stiffer springs. By removing the plastic that surrounds the grill by the radiator, the Street's suspension now has far more travel than the stock suspension.

Changing the Looks

To flatten out the silhouette of the bike, the standard tank was raised slightly at the rear and relocated the gas cap to the side and put the speedometer on the other side. To top it all off an elegant shade of grey stripe was painted on the side of the tank that goes parallel with the fins of the rear cylinder.

Changing the Ride

To change the way the motorcycle rides, the stock dual shocks were replaced with a monoshock, which is mounted on the right side of the swingarm. The monoshock serves slightly more than to just absorb shocks; it also holds the compact battery and some of the wiring loom inside of it.

From Belt to Chain

On the side of the bike, you may notice a solid-looking chain. To add some strength and sincerity to the Street 750, the belt driven system was replaced with a chain. Rajputana specifically fabricated a front sprocket, which he connected to a Drag Race rear sprocket with 7075-T6 aluminum from Zipper's Performance.

Final Touches

To finish up the build, Rajputana installed a beautiful black leather seat, which sits on top of a new subframe with a low profile cowl. Finally, he fabricated the swingarm to be able to house the Coker tires, which are wrapped around 16-inch Harley-Davidson wheels. This bike was put together in just four weeks which is crazy considering how clean and clever all of the mods done to the bike are.
