Harley-Davidson Forums Members Sparkly Chromed Out Softail Customs
The Softail is one of the most popular bikes among HDForum members, so let's look at some that have been blinged out with some added sparkle and shine.
1. Redlegvzv 2015 Fatboy
Almost two years ago, Redlegvzv decides he was tired of the trend of the matte finish, blacked out, custom bikes that were currently popular, and started a thread to show off the brighter, shinier side of things. He must have been onto something because the forum thread is now more than 40 pages long and still going strong. Keeping those mirror polished disc wheels clean has got to be a full-time job.
2. Karman 71 2006 Softail
Karman 71 likes things to ride low, and his retro Softail touring bike is just that. Unless you were to dip the whole bike, tank, frame, and all, you can't get much shinier than this. Those long, long, fishtail pipes, and whitewall tires, totally complete this retro look.
3. Sleeko 2007 Softail Deluxe
Sleeko says in the thread "Of course I could use some more chrome..." but this Deluxe looks pretty good to us as is. Black, chrome, and white walls are the recipe for a great looking bike.
4. Mswmn 2010 Heritage
After so many black and beautiful bikes, this red with contrasting (black cherry?) panels, two-tone paint job really catches the eyes. It doesn't hurt that mswmn takes a pretty good picture, with the sun gleaming off those twin straight pipes.
5. Triple M 2011 CVO Softail Convertible
When you buy the CVO version of a Harley you typically get a leg up on customizing it from the factory. They usually come with plenty of added chrome and shiny bits, like Triple M's here, but that doesn't mean you can't add more.
6. Red Deuce 2005 Softail Deuce
After all the retro bikes with windscreens and bags, it is nice to see a Deuce on here. Red Deuce has plenty of chrome on his bike, but what really stands out is the amazing interwoven flames in the paint! There isn't much red left, but I guess he is stuck with the screen name.
7. Billy_Bob 2007 Softail Custom
We end on a bike that is so customized, even owner Billy_Bob just calls it a Softail Custom. But who cares what it is, it sure looks pretty!
You can check out all these Softails and more on the Softail Custom Thread.
