3. Sturgis Motorcycle Rally - Sturgis, South Dakota Annually

The Sturgis Rally is Mecca for all bikers, meaning eventually everyone should make the pilgrimage there at least once. Though not just a H.O.G. event, with attendance now breaching 1 million people each year, this is one of the top 3 events for all lovers and riders of American bikes every year. The very first was a small affair in 1938, but it has grown to be an $800 million party. The surrounding country is beautiful, and the mountains make for great riding, especially to destinations like Mount Rushmore, which is just gravy on top of the racing and partying going on in town.

5. USS Lexington Rally - Corpus Christi, Texas 2005

This was a rare photo opportunity, limited to 500 Harley and their lucky owners on the deck of the USS Lexington, a retired WWII aircraft carrier at this 2005 HOG event. Because of the difficult logistics, the aircraft elevator could only load 50 bikes at a time, the bikers were given only four hours to load and unloading all of the bikes starting at 5am. After all that scrambling the result was one hell of a picture, and then it was time for the afternoon party.
