These prestigious awards are given only to the best of the best when it comes to customer experience and sales. There are four levels of Bar & Shield winner - Platinum, Gold, Silver, and Bronze. Barrie Harley-Davidson in Barrie, Ontario is one of only 6 dealerships to receive the coveted Platinum Bar & Shield. Another Platinum Bar & Shield winner, Flaming Gorge Harley-Davidson, has been slinging bikes in Wyoming since 1986 with the same husband/wife ownership team. During that time span they raised three children, all of whom now work at the dealership. Things haven't always been great, however, as Flaming Gorge sold a whopping 8 bikes in their first year of business. But now business is booming, and the uniquely decorated building lives up to their motto as "The Friendliest Dealership in the West."

H-D of Kokomo might be one of many Harley dealerships around Indianapolis, but they're the only one to win a coveted Platinum Bar & Shield. The dealership, open for 10+ years now, also sells more Harleys than any other place in town, which is likely a result of their top notch service and large inventory.

4. Huntington Beach Harley-Davidson - Westminster, California
Huntington Beach Harley-Davidson hasn't been around very long, but they've already picked up a Platinum Bar & Shield award. That probably has a lot to do with the fact that it's owned and operated by Michael and Paul Veracka, who happen to own four other top 10 Harley dealerships across the nation. So if you're out in Southern California and in the market for a new bike, you'll probably want to check them out first.

Black Bear Harley-Davidson, a Gold Bar & Shield winner, is located in what used to be a country style restaurant at the corner of two major highways in Virginia. Now they're serving up tons of motorcycles in a unique setting that includes a huge wrap around porch and a big fireplace so customers can hang out no matter what the weather's like.

Hell's Canyon Harley-Davidson has only been open for four years, but the husband-wife management team has quickly turned the place into one of the very best dealerships in America. The Gold Bar & Shield recipient is located in one of the most picturesque places around, which doesn't hurt, and outstanding customer service has led them to seven consecutive Bar & Shield awards.
