MANDATORY Full Face Helmet!!!
US Air Force living in England. First of all, just found out that my DOT helmet is Illegal
In additionthe powers that be are requiringall military members towear full face helmets at all times!
I understand full face helmets are safer but let me decide what to wear.

Good luck with changing that policy with the military. You might want to spend the extra $$$ and buy a nice one with good ventilation so your head doesn't melt during the summer.

Unless the military has changed quite a bit since I was in, you don't get to decide sh*t. Don't want to sound harsh, but I don't think you have all that much to complain about. You're based in the UK and you get to ride--there's worse duty, as some who frequent this board would be happy to point out to you.

Most military installations require gloves, long sleeves, full face helmet, AND some sort of hi visibility outer garment (read reflective), either a vest or sash.
And your right about not being able to decide what you wear: The military gets to do that for you.
