Extended Forward Controls - your recommendation wanted
I'm 6' 2" and am looking at extending the forward controls on my 07 Deuce. I'm finding the riding position to be a bit cramped and would prefer to get a position akin tothe Wide Glide where the seat is higher up and a bit further back.
What control sets, or just extension brackets have people opted for?
I'm looking for something preferably in chrome (but not essential) but have not deceided upon replacing just the bracket or doing the bracket and control arms... the Arlen Ness 2" bracket might be the go... not sure.
I got the part number off of this and ordered it from M&M for $171.00 delivered. If you get a chance you might want (if you already haven't) read through the Deuce pictures forom. An absolute wealth of information about your bike.

I think I've got a bit of a chrome problem as those HD 3" chrome extended controls look pretty sweet... but the Ness kit does seem just too good a price to pass up. You have to change the shift linkage as well don't you? That comes as part of the kit if i recall correctly.
Would someone be able to provide me a close up photo of the Ness controls installed so i can see what they look like ona bike? All the online catalogue stuff i have found only shows the kit prior to installation.

I have the Ness kit on my Springerand I'm 6'-3". Kit comes with black anodized extension plates, stainless steel shift linkage, stainless steel braided brake lines for rearand block for pressure switch. Check out the pic below.

Here are the (very dirty) Kuryakyn extended forward controls on my Deuce. I am 6' 2" and I love the bit of stretch I get with them. I wouldn't even consider the HD extended forward controls. They are chunky and HUGE. They are made to attach an engine guard.
