no dont ask him....i'll tell ya.....i use a pingle chock cause i have em and theyre paid for....draw a centerline from the front most part of the pingle 54" back, thats 90deg from the pass pegs(theyre great with a big ole bolt)....put a D-ring 20" from the centerline on each side....now 20" off a 90deg from where the handle bars go into the lower fairin put one on each side also....get those short little loopy things and put em on your handlebars at the lower fairin....ride into the pingle and grab a ratchet strap, put it in the loopy thing and the corresponding d-ring...repeat the other side....you can get off the bike...the real stability comes from runnin a short ratchet strap to the passenger mount and cinchin them down....

very little pressure is put on the handlebars and what little there is, is at a solid straight piece of the bar right where it turns up so's it wont bend or flex or put undo strain on em....i just lightly collapse the front end

Yep, the passenger board supports are real sturdy.

I used the handlebar one time on my RKC and was too high up on the bar, started ratcheting and damn if the bars didn't turn in the mount. If you do as you say and keep the loopy things (think they are called soft ties ) down low the bars shouldn't twist.
