I have a set on my 06 Street Glide and they work great! I have a 30" inseam and they fit me good. At first I had problems at highway speedswith myfeet wanting to slip outward (they are kind of slick just being chrome with some small slots milled in the edge where yourshoes contact. I pulled them off and made an adjustablestop so that when fully extended they angle back slightly. Also when installing try not to remove any material where the front portion near pivot bolt meets the brace. Then grind off material until you have your desired postion. The pegs have a small ball detent where they kind of lock into place when extended and this is where I thought they were a little to farout for my preference. If you happen to be tall, I'm not sure how well they would fit. They are a little work to install, but not too bad. (probably not for the beginner) You also have to remove some of the bracing with a grinder on the bottom of the board to make them fit.

I have removed my crash bars for a cleaner look and was going to buy a set from FBI but I could buy them from you. What's your price and so you have a web site?

Hey Akitakoi: what would the "engine guard" be guarding against?

Oh ya, a crash.

Those of us riding for + 25 years still get caught in the old terminology - call it as you see it.

Cheers

You're right Piper!
Crashguard, kickstand, etc. that's what they are and always will be. First Harley was a 61 frame with the rest of the bike brought home in boxes back in 69. I sure wishI still had my first home built chopper.
