Yes

A gasket crushes when the bolts are tightened and will not seal properly if reused.

Spend the 30 bucks a get the new gasket.

Always use a new gasket. It will not reseal properly.

I've reused mine 4or 5 times and still no leaks .if you use a torque wrench and the pattern in the manual you should have no problem

I prefer to replace the gasket but they can be reused very limited times and still seal well.

Look it over and if it looks ok, reuse it. I've done it a couple of times and no leaks. the other thing is, that it's not too hard to replace if it ever starts leaking. and if it doesn't you've saved yourself $30+

Good advice, I use them again too if they don't stick and tear. They're not like an exhaust crush gasket and can be reused if not damaged. I guarentee you the HD shops reuse them all the time and still charge you for a new one.

Man spring for the $30 gasket. NEVER re-use 'em. You know it;s like "do buy the plain white label "Beer" or Becks Dark?

I've reused mine 3 times and no leaks yet. When it starts to leak I'll replace.
