Default Mustang Wide Solo on Deluxe Review & pics

I finally resigned to the fact that I cannot salvage the stock Deluxe seat to be comfortable. I put the Mustang Wide Solo set on yesterday. 5 minute installation. I found this seat far more confortable than the stock. I had less pain to my back after 2 hours than 30 min. with the stock seat. The seat raised me about 2 inches. Because the seat is wider, putting your feet on the ground is more difficult if you are short. I'm 6'1" so it's not a problem for me but if your 5'9" or less, it may be difficult.

Downside for me is the seat does not match my bags. Also, I cannot use my Springer seat rail any longer. (I will be selling it if anyone is interested also will sell the stock seat shaved 2inches).

Here's what the Wide Solo lokks like on...

I want the rail. I'm sure a few people will want it.........how much for it purchased vs selling price and how do you decide who gets it

Great pics of your bike. Looks great. I had a mustang once and was very pleased with the comfort too.

I keep wondering myself about the stock seat...but I really like the look....keep hoping it will break in
Was considering taking mine apart and doing my own work... Just a bit more cushion would do it I think.
I've done some work like that before and I paid close attention to what the seat guy was doing

Looks good..sorry you can't get the seat rail on anymore, really does add to the look.

Your seat does look comfy though
