The longing for more power is something that all gearheads know never really goes away. Think about it — why would you not want to keep making your ride faster and more powerful?

Last year, Bad Ass Helmet published its list of the “50 Coolest Motorcycle Helmets.” This list arrived as advertised, a bloated tally that made little distinction between shock value and style. In the interest of brevity, we’ve whittled Bad Ass’s list (of 50) down to five.

The paint is Kandy Tangerine over a black base, gold meta-jewels, and gold over and under the flames. The bike currently puts out 99+ horsepower and 106 foot-pounds of torque.

Although Jerry Savoie of Savoie’s Alligator Farm Suzuki took the top spot at this past weekend’s Toyota NHRA Summernationals in New Jersey, that doesn’t mean all is lost for Harley-Davidson.

The new Kawasaki H2R is the superbike to end all superbikes. Or at least that’s what Kawasaki claims. Using a 1 litre supercharged 1000cc motor that makes 300 horsepower, the Kawasaki H2R is definitely the most powerful bike on the planet. But is it the fastest?
