A build is anything but easy. In fact, sometimes it can be stressful, difficult, and angering. I mean, who here hasn’t struggled to fit their hand somewhere is order to pry off a part, or, worse, pick up a bolt that fell somewhere it shouldn’t be? And that’s not even mentioning the cost of a build, the time it takes, or the difficulty in choosing the right direction to take. We’ve all been there, and, let me tell you, it sucks. Of course, that doesn’t mean that the end result isn’t well worth it!

Today we’ll be taking a look at a build that has been taken on by HDForums and U.S. Army member Doug, who is also known by his username BlackburnD. The ride is a 2014 Harley-Davidson Street Bob, and the goal of the build seems to be to make the ride more his own. New parts and changes here and there. Some of these parts include 14″ Road 6 Custom apes, a Road 6 side plate bracket, a 2.5″ tank lift from DK Custom, bear trap foot pegs from DK Custom, Get a Grip Magnums, passenger mounts, and a two-up seat for if his wife wants to ride. In addition, he’s working on blacking out a lot of the chrome.
