BUILDUP A Sportster 883 Tracker/Scrambler Project

Though his direction might not be favored by all Harley-Davidson motorcycle enthusiasts out there, HDForums member Steeze is working on a build that originated as a Sportster 883 and that he has built up with the goal of making it into a Flat Tracker/Scramble motorcycle.

It seems that he has done an excellent job with his ride so far, and we’re very excited to see where it goes!

So far the cylinders have been bored with torque plates and fitted with J&E pistons to 1200cc, mild port match work has been done, Buell XB 12R cams have been added as well as an adjustable ignition module, a 17” rear wheel, 15” rear shocks, and more.

He has also added Biltwell foot pegs and Moto bars, Moose Racing hand guards, and Continental TKC 80 tires in the front and the rear.
