MY RIDE! A Wide Glide Evolution and a Jeep Cherokee in the Garage

Schwangster (A.K.A. “Dale”) has been a member of our site since 2008 and certainly has a lot to show for it, including the amazing machine he rides.

He describes himself quite simply as being “happily married to the perfect riding partner,” and, being true to his love of bikes, enjoys spending his time riding and wrenching (or on vacation, of course!).

Today we’re going to step inside his garage and take a look at the two rides that make their homes within those walls.

We’ll get this one out of the way first, since technically this is Dale’s “second” ride, and we want to save best for last. This Jeep Cherokee is clearly used for moments where riding his motorcycle just may not be the most plausible.

The SUV has undergone a fuel injector upgrade, been given a 2.5″ OME lift, has been equipped with OME shocks, and more. It is also sitting on 31″ GY Duratracs.

But of course, that is nothing compared to his magnificent Harley. His ride is a Dyna Wide Glide Evolution that has been modified in quite a few ways. To name a few, the bike now has SE hi-comp heads, an Andrews EV3 cam, a Super E carburetor, Racetech front springs, and much more.
