Welcome to Wednesday, that most glorious of hallway done with the week days! It is Spotlight on Lady Riders day and once again we have one of our lovely lady riders sharing her story with us! Check out Regina’s story and enjoy the photos of her and her ride!

I have long wanted a motorcycle since high school. It was just the thought of having a unique machine. Many years past, but the desire never died. In 2009 one crazy morning while working in the emergency room, I began having a discussion with a fellow co-worker. She began telling me about her experience as a new rider. To me that was music to my ears. The following day I made a trip to the Harley Davidson store. It was only going to be a Harley for me. In May 2012 I made my first motorcycle purchase after several trips to the dealership. It was the sportster 883 low ride. I didn’t ride much, but whenever I had the chance, it was like sheer freedom. The freedom to be yourself and being engaged with the beauty of the surroundings is the key. Riding or shall I say cruising down a curvy back road or the highway provides a therapeutic atmosphere. Yes, motorcycle riding is cool and I feel cool. Now, especially since my recent exchange from the Sportster to the 2014Dyna FLD Switchback was a sweet move. The switchback has a powerful sleek look just right for cruising locally or touring a distance. The magenta color really caught my eyes. No real modifications done except to add engine guards, but that is only the beginning of more to come. In looking back I should have purchased a larger bike from the beginning, but maybe my eyes would not have set on the beauty that I am riding today.
