Dumb question... Jacket/vest and patch placement
I know I might be asking a silly question, but is there a common place to sew on name patches and/or club position patches onto vests and/or jackets? I wasn't sure if there was a "proper place" on the front of the jacket for them.
Thanks!

Most times the back center is where you place your club(hog, hells angels etc...) above it the chapter you belong to, below it the area you are from, as to the front, its best to start at the highest point so you can add more as you get them. Or another way Ive seen is just sew them where ever you want them

Most ride groups have regulations that you can't have another ride group backpatch along with theirs. For example, if you were a member of CMA and HOG, you aren't supposed to have the HOG back patch with the CMA back patch and visa versa.
If you display an American Flag, it's supposed to be on the upper left front of your vest with nothing above it.
However, I've never seen the patch police at any event so I reckon you can do whatever you want.

If you're in a club, the club will tell you where the patches are supposed to go. Otherwise its your jacket.

You would think GOD would cut you some slack, if youre talking the christain motorcycling Assn.

No, I am not in a club, but one of my two questions was answered: where does the U.S. flag patch go? I was pretty sure over the left breast, and that seems to confirm it.
I was going to put a name rocker/phrase rocker under it but didn't want to offend the flag.
Thanks for the input!

I'm not sure God worries much about it though. He's more concerned about what's inside the vest.

Sorry, that's just the rules and not specific to CMA. It generally holds true for all ride groups.
