Old school hot rods (rat rods) lately are rusty or flat black with red wheels. Who has some rock-a-billy bikes? My color change paint is ghetto, thinking about gloss black with flames, ,or maybe rock-a-billy flat black, red wheels with wide whites.

Rat bikes dont have to be flat man, just traditional in paint schemes dude even with flake. Mines dont in caked flake black and white. Also rat bikes are buit with random parts from different doner bikes man(kinda like mine)

Rat bikes happen, they aren't built. Exception to the rule: Bike built with whatever old stuff is laying around.

yes those are awesome looking bikes, but here in canada, when riding in sub zero temps, with blowing snow, you don't see many of those on the roads.
Seriously though, does your bike have flames painted on it? I don't like flames, just my opinion. By the way, the my avy is a photoshop from the paint scheme from a Curtiss p40 warhawk. My ride can e seen in my sig photo.

Isn't there a difference between a rod rod bike and a rat bike. Rat bikes are typically a thing of beauty due to being slapped together with unwieldy mismatched parts that somehow come together.
Rad rot bobbed or whatever are the flat black bikes with either a peanut or a high frisco'd tank prolly aren't shiny chrome jobbies and are done hopefully by the owner with some friends and pabst blue ribbon.
Garage bikes to me are the best bikes out there I love the creativity of people and I like seeing what they come up with vice pointing at some billet stuff on a wall and telling the dealer they want that mounted on the bike.
I really enjoy some of the items that come out though the really cool ideas tend to get ubiquitous pretty quick like porthole oil bags and brass fixtures are almost over done now.
