Favorite stock tank paint job
Of all the paint and emblems Harley has done over the years what is your favorite stock tank paint job from Harley?
Saw these on another site and they have always been a couple of my favorites.

This one right here. Similar to the one you posted, but I think the 35th anniv. stripes are a little nicer;they seem to flow better & are more streamlined.
And I know I'm gonna get flak for this, but I really liked the Duracell bikes.

I like the tanks posted above. For me I'll probably stick with black. But, I like looking at other bikes that have some color. I posted some of these on a different thread. I visited the HD museum and snapped some pics of my favorites off the "wall of tanks"

I'd say the '03 anniversary tanks were about as good as they get. Second to those, my vote is for the softail tanks with the eagle like this one. Pick your color.

Some beautiful paint schemes. But this is one of my favorites. I had a 1974 SX175 with similar paint and just loved it! This one is a 1975. The '74 had the same stripes, but they were straight above and below the tank emblem. I was 15 at the time. One of the best bikes I ever had while growing up.
I also really loved my Low Rider, 1980 version.

DannyZ71,
WOW! Nice photo of your, had to be new and is bone stock, Lowrider. Still has the Hamcan. Nice looking bike! That brings back great memories of my 81 FXEF that I bought new. Thanks for posting.
