How to remove floor boards?
Hello all, another one of my noob questions.
I am trying to take off my primary cover to send it out for powdercoating. I know I have to somehow move the floorboards to get to that last bolt. But I am not sure which bolts to undo.
It looks like I'd have to remove three bolts in a triangle pattern that connect the floorboards bracket to the frame. Is that the right place?
Thanks!

I just had the outer primary off of my bike and only had to remove the floorboard itself, and not the bracket. A 3/16 allen and 7/16 wrench is all you need. There is about 1/2 an inch between the primary and the floorboard bracket and is plenty of room to get to the bolt and r/r the primary cover.

Remove the floorboard (may not have to but this time it'll help)
Remove your shifter(s) levers
Remove the kick stand bolt and top cap (you do have it on a jack?)
Rotate the kick stand forward to remove the spring (remember for assembly)
Remove the 3 bolts
