Default Pan-Chop

Still in the "build" stage, but slowly getting their! Basically, I call it a 48 clone pan chop...cause about the only thing original (OEM) are the heads - 56s. Rest are cobbled after-market or massaged bits of salvagable dung piles that found their way from areas aound the globe to my door step....yup, a couple disappointments along the way, for sure! All good stuff to toughen you up & develope a few grey strands over...but hey, that's what punching holes in the drywall is for, right? It's actually good therapy, for us "anger" managed or challenged gentleman. I got the idea for the bike from endless flipping through 70s mags...that I dusted off, from years of neglect & got a few manuals to boot, to set me down the path of coooool! Now....5x yrs later, I'm still dreaming of the first kick...still needs final drive & wiring done....all in good time, like man......who's in a rush? The road to rigid coooool is rightous and near!!

Here are a couple of shots of my "new" 1959. There are a few more in my photo album, if you are interested.

Red face My old '59 Pan

I feel kinda guilty putting a pic of my old girl up here now, but it WAS over twenty years ago. I got a pretty good deal and I knew NOTHING about working on or starting pans, except to kick all the way through, and that worked out pretty good. She may not look good to anybody here, but she was gorgeous to me
