Default Bluetooth Headset and 2014 infotainment

Hello everyone,

I recently got a 2014 street glide. I immediately got a new BT headset so I could utilize the infotainment system (voice commands, phone calls, and the intercom). I was then disappointed the new infotainment systems aren't equipped with the Bluetooth HSP profile for headsets. WTF!!!!! I talked to my dealer no one had any idea what I was talking about. They spent 30 minutes trying to connect my headset to my bike. Then the sales manager advies them it won't work and that Harley disabled it because they're coming out with there own proprietary headset. I was wondering if anyone on here has heard of this? It seemed like he might have been trying to just get rid of me. Also there are some adapters that take your seven pin CB out and turn it into a Bluetooth signal. Has anyone tried any of these products with the 2014 infotainment system? If so how do they work?

I have the same questions. If in fact HD did disable Bluetooth transmitting in the infotainment system, why? We spend a lot of money for these bikes, let us connect the way we want. Also if there is some sort of device that plugs into the 7pin output to convert and transmit in Bluetooth, let me know. I'll be the guinea pig.

Hey. Thanks for joining in on the conversation. I found this on another forum but haven't heard of anyone using it. Let me know if you decide to give it a try.
