I'm one of those folks that if I'm going to do something...I usually go full blown on it. With that said, I'm thinking about adding the BT Saddle Bag lid speaker kit to my audio upgrade list. I've been PM'ing Bill and he quoted be a good price for Kendwood 558 HU, 7.1 in fairing, 4180 and the 6x9 saddlebag lid kit. How do the saddlebag lid speakers hold up in weather? What's the average pricing to get the lids painted?

 

I don't know anything about saddlebags or radios because I have a Fatboy Lo but I DO know you NEVER go full retard, everyone knows that! Lol good luck.

 

Dam Brother. . . Have you thought about the possibility there could be some of us out here with special needs children and your title could be offensive? Just a thought.

That said. If you go with the biketronics set up in the lids you have nothing to worry about in regard to rain. Best lid set up out there for the rain. The paint varies with the painter. Depends on how creative you want to get with the paint. $200.00 to 300.00 is a fair price.

 

If I offend anyone I apologize. I will change the title if someone tells me how...can't seem to find a edit for the title. I'm not looking to go anything special with the paint, just gloss/vivid black to match.

 

No worries on the BT saddlebag lids/speakers. One of the best speakers out there.

 

The order has been placed with BT. Huge thanks to Bill for getting with me via PM on the decision. Can't wait to rip those 5.25's out, and hear the 7.1's and 6x9's with power behind them and the new Kenwood head unit. Beyond stoked on this upgrade.

 

I love my BT lid speaker's. No water in bags ever. You are going to love the way they sound.
