I currently have a really old set of Biketronics titan XL from 2009. They are not sounding good anymore. They lost like half there output.
I can send them back for warranty. Which they don't sell these anymore so I would have to pay the difference for new 7.1 plus shipping both ways or buy new Kappas for about same $110.
I am using an ARC 125.1 for amp. The Kappas are 2 ohm and 7.1 are 4ohm. Which is a better buy and sound for the same price?

 

Personally I'd go with the Kappas if your gonna stay with the amp your currently using.

 

Yes staying with the same amp. I guessing because the lower ohm Kappas will leverage more sound?

 

I prefer the sound of the BT 6.5 Titans to the BT7.1s. You might consider upgrading to those, if the cost isn't too high (as compared to the 7.1s)

Otherwise, go with the Kappas. They are one of my favorite "Bang for the Buck" speakers.
