I know this has been ask a hundred times but I can't find it. I am installing MM651's in tour pack pods. I assume black w/white stripe is positive on crossovers. What color is positive wire on scooter. Found one post that said green on the r r is positive but the connector on the green is the smaller of the two connectors. Leads me to think it is the neg.


This is from the post I found..

left speaker:

+ Brown

- White/brown stripe

right speaker

+ Green

- light green brown


that's from the 09 service manual wiring diagrams.

 

with HD, the stock connectors that plug into stock speakers are 2 different sizes. the smaller connector is always the + wire. In your case

Rear Right + is Green
Rear Right - is Green/Brown
Rear Left + is Brown
Rear Left - is Brown/White
