Who has a touring bike and removes the rear rubber bumper to clean it?

I like to do that every couple of months. That thing gets nasty and it only takes a minute to clean. Once removed, it's easy to clean the chrome bars right and put some Son Of a Gun or other cleaner on the rubber.
