Whoa big fella, I wouldn't change that gauge just yet...some tire manufacturers just announced they are going to introduce some tires that will use 140psi as a "Recommended Pressure"

Finished buttoning some things up from my bar swap, tucked the wires a little better by removing the harness cover and pulling them back in that way. Installed mini floor boards I got for Xmas, and put a cheap bar bag on. Also removed the tank lift, after awhile I didn't like the look very much.

This is the perfect time to remove the stock baffles and install the W158 TTI's; you will be much happier with the performance and the tone of the pipes.

You did order the TTI's, right?

Seriously, consider them. I've done 3 BSS installs on my 3 Wide Glides and you will appreciate the reduction in reversion in to the exhaust system, the improved low and mid-range torque, and the deeper tone of the pipes without the bright V&H overtones...

Edit: http://www.dkcustomproducts.com/Thun...DK-TTI-158.htm

Kevin liked the images I took and he uses them on the DK website Smartest $20 you'll spend on that exhaust...

Well got the bike back from a buddy's shop after some motor upgrades. We didn't have time to strap it to the dyno yet so loaded a base tune he cooked up and I rode around doing auto tune on the power vision to at least get it in the ballpark. I will say I'm excited for him to fine tune it next week. Should run like scalded *** ape for a dyna with stock displacement.

Got a Roland Sands Venturi air cleaner, set of Cobra speedster slash cut pipes, FuelPak, Sundowner seat, and LED headlight to put on. The bike is 3 towns away in my friend's garage. I just gotta find time to bring my tools out and put it all on !

Being in Texas, three towns away can be, in my case, a ten minute ride, or a three hour one. Hope you get there soon, and make the bike even more your own...Oh, post a finished pic, too... tp dd50

Well, more tire related goodness. I just ordered the CyclePump expedition tire inflator combo w/gauge. The BMW guys swear by them, very small, good inflation performance, USA made (mostly...), and a lifetime warranty. We will see how it does.
This will be the crown jewel of my "on the road" tire repair kit consisting of tubes and tube repair stuff, and a really small home made folding track stand gizmo that will hold the bike up so I remove either wheel on the road. This sounds like a lot of stuff but it should pack really small, the target is all this, with exception of the tubes in a 11" X 6" X 6" tool bag, photos as it happens .
