Default What year did they change from a 39mm to 41mm fork tube?

I know my 2007 has 41mm fork tubes but I'm searching eBay for a different quick detach super sport windsheild. My current standard HD windsheild has 41mm clamps but the ebay ads typically only mention the years that their super sport windsheild fits with most I'm kinda assuming them being 39mm.

I also assuming that I could just swap out the 39mm for my 41mm but sure would be handy to have a 41mm full windsheild and a 41mm Super Sport.

So, what year and what models did HD go to the 41mm fork tubes.

How about this, what would be the part number for an '07 Lowrider Super Sport windsheild. I find some -08 windsheilds listed but as I said they seem to still be 39mm tubes from XLs.

I believe the 2005's were the last year for the 39mm fork tubes. 49mm 2006 models and newer.

49mm fork tubes are what I think you guys are talking about.
41mm tubes were the wide glide tube for many years and 39mm tubes were the previous narrow glide tube.

If you buy something for a 41mm front end and you actually have a 49mm front end, you are not going to be happy.
