Thanks for documenting this. I'm thinking about the same thing.

So I finally got the radio bracket last night. I quickly installed it and everything fits so I'm happy. Been building a deck that the wife says has to be done by the fourth of July, so the fairing has been pushed to the back burner for a bit.

I know how that goes. Almost fished my FLH bag mod and had to come to Arizona for 5 days. I was so close to being done!

I sat down and drew the wiring diagram for the roadglide fairing that I am installing. I'm thinking I should be able to finish it up this weekend and hopefully get it installed on the bike next week!

So the radio, amp and Sirius are installed. The wiring still looks like a rats nest at this point.

So I was able to get started installing the fairing this weekend. Pulled the wiring through the frame and mounted up the inner to see where it sat. Still have to pull it back off and terminate all the connectors before final install.I'm going to go ahead and pull the wires through the handlebars while I've got it apart. So far I think it is coming along nicely.

(Yes I know my garage is a mess)

Torn down to the frame!

fairing mounted

I think it's gonna turn out good
