Default Better than stock clutch hub.. ?

Hey guys... looking for a better than stock clutch hub, that won't break the bank.

Opinions on the SE Race hub? p/n - 37976-08A

Any other better-than-stock hubs that work with stock basket and plates?

Thanks.

I know the Scorpion is a great clutch, but it apparently (according to pics and description, does not come with a hub.. which IS my problem. Right now, I'm not looking for a clutch basket/plate assembly replacement... I need a new hub, I've had zero issues with my clutch itself.

Couldn't really determine anything much from the Bandit... I'll go look at the Rekluse site... see if I can determine if they include a new hub.

One of the reasons I was looking at the SE unit... it comes with a new hub... which indicates to me, that HD knows there is a weakness in the stock hub... just like the whole SE compensator thing.

If you buy a new clutch like the Barnett Scorpion, Bandit Sportsman, Riveria Pro, Evolution, etc, they all come with a new hub, friction and steel plates, and pressure plate. There are "kits" that just replace the friction and steel plates but that is not a new clutch. Now if all you want to get is the hub, then I would stick with HD.

I have Barnett Scorpion clutch, way better then the stock clutch. I know the all parts and the basket is changed, bur it is the only clutch I have had that does not slip. The clutch comes with different sets of spring, smooth operation for stock or any size motor.

Yup Scorpion here too. Real nice clutch and hub. I'm running the springs that add up to 420lbs. Are pull is night and day easier than the SE spring I used on my stock clutch, which I believe is around 340lbs.
