Default Bandit clutch timing

I did my 30k service this weekend so I opened the primary back up to check the primary chain tension. There was some discussion on here about the bandit clutch having a small O on the hub and another on the pressure plate. So I pulled the pressure plate off and checked it out. I couldn't find and marks of any kind other then "BANDIT" on both the hub and pressure plate. So I'm assuming the small 0's have been replaced by that? It's the only thing I could see to time the hub and PP.

This last pic was taken when I first put the clutch on, the "BANDIT" writing was in the same position as the writing on the hub

Top picture in your post, approx 3:30 position on one tooth of your hub = O

Then you look on the back side of your pressure plate for the corresponding OPEN "valley" tooth marked "O"

You mate these two together.

Well **** I see it now. I'm an idiot I was looking for a zero etched into the body of the hub. Dammit, good call lama, I wonder if it lined up since the "BANDIT" was lined up. How did I not see that?!

It's only lined up when ALL the "O" dots are aligned. It will work if not but not butter smooth as a Bandit can be.

And the "O" or dot on the inside of the pressure plate is at the 11:00 - 11:30 position, correct?? So these 2 markings need to be lined up/facing one another?

Correct, all "o" marks need to be lined up....the hub/pressure plate splines are unfortunately not symmetrical...it will assemble and operate...but not work smoothly.

I've noticed that you can put the pressure plate on all 6 ways. I had to keep rotating it when I first installed because the bolts for the PP don't always line up centered in the bores. I rotated it a few times and it finally lined up. Wonder if I got lucky? I guess I'll have to wait another 2.5k to find out because I probably won't open it back up for a while. It operates super smooth for sure the way it is now. I hate myself right now for not catching that haha

If you look at the second picture from top in the photos, you will see pressure plate spring rub marks in the bores of the adjusting studs. This is caused by not timing it correctly.
