Default Calling All Switchbacks.

My wife and I just bought a 2013 Switchback. We fell in love with the bike when we first started looking for a new bike. This last weekend we were lucky enough to find a used one. It has already had the stage 1 with a Black D&D FatCat 2 exhaut (louder then we really want) and a Dynojet Power Commander V. It also has the quick disconnects for a sissy bar. It also have the mini floorboards for the passenger. We bought the components for the sissy bar (bar itself was not in stock) and the engine guard (which is now installed).

We are thinking about going with Chrome Vance and Hines Twin Slash Duals when we get the extra cash. (Anyone interested in the D&D??) Also your opinions on the Duals. If we can get the header pipes maybe we can go with a 2:1 who knows. The D&D is just LOUD.

So moving on:

I was wondering if you all would post your bikes and what you have done with them (I know someone probably already has done this but I can't find a page). Maybe we can get ideas from each other.

Thanks all.

P.S. Some issue with the photo can't get it right side up. Guess I will have to take a new photo this weekend.

Let me know what you want for the D&D. I really have been wanting one. I have some chrome Cobra Dragsters that i might let go of, too. They aren't too loud unless you go WOT. They are insane then...

I'll be keeping an eye on this thread. My daughter is picking up an untouched 2012 Ember Red Sunglow w/1640 miles on the clock tonight.
She knows the exhaust is getting replaced and an engine guard will be put on.

1HD1C how loud is that pipe? I like a nice deep rumble but not loud. Think V8 sound.

ToffeeBrown - We are looking for about $550 at this point for the pipe. We still have not nailed down exactly what we are going to replace it with but if you are interested we can discuss it. Delivery would have to wait until we got and installed a new pipe though.

unfortunately what sounds good to one set of ears wont sound good to the next one, I LOVE the sound of this pipe but the guy I bought it off of over on the switchback owners only site hated the sound and I got the whole system for less than half price..

don't rely on videos on you tube either because my pipe DOESNT sound like the uploaded video to me.. you really need to hear a system you are interested in buying in person before pulling the trigger
