Default Question For the California riders

Finally registered the bike yesterday and got my CA license (wanted to wait until 7500 miles to avoid extra sales tax). Registration was $180 which was what I expected. In VA the registration was much cheaper butbi also paid $202 in property tax on it annually.

Do you also pay property taxes on your motorcycles here?

Yep it did, but overall cost of living, at least where we were, was pretty darn reasonable otherwise.

You can thank Howard Jarvis and Paul Gann...

They systematically saved California...
