I have the Vance & Hines Big Shots on my '07 Super Glide with the Quiet Baffles. Yes, as other have said, still loud but a very nice sound. The quality is top notch !

Default Big Shots on Low Rider

Ikelove, I see you have the big shots on a late model low rider. I am finding some retailers show they fit the low riders, others say they don't. Are these Vance and Hines 17935's and were there any issues installing them?

for those with the big shots, anyone running saddle bags (hard). If so, does the length of the pipes heat up the bags? Based on my measurements, the exhaust outlet would sit right under saddle bags. Wondering if this system could pose a problem with saddle bags due to the heat and where the outlets are located.

Yes the 17935's fit like a glove on the late model Low Riders. I had a set on my 14.5 LR but recently changed them to a Pro Pipe.

I love my BSS, I've had them on my 103ci street bob and I went for them again on my fatboy S. Great sound, i use the standard baffle, and they make power low down and higher rpm, act very much like a 2-1. They also look great to boot.

My bags get very hot on long trips. I'm putting some extension turn outs on mine to take care of the problem. Magna-flow makes a set of nice stainless steel turnouts that will clamp right on to the tips. Mine will be here next week.

Pics when you installed them! Sounds like a good solution.

"Big city thunder baffles in conjunction with stock Vance and Hines modified baffles".

How about a little hint as to what you did?

I heard a set of Big Shots this weekend and love the way they sound. I am having an issue on my 15 Wide Glide with dragging the factory tommy gun header and lower pipe far more often that I would care to. I do not feel that I ride the damn thing that hard, but maybe I am just used to how high the Street Glide is...?

Do the Big Shots sit a bit higher than the Tommy Gun's?

anyone dragging the Big Shots on a normal ride at all?

I love the sound and performance of mine... I don't think I could ever get myself to change them on this bike... I have the 'quiet' baffles in.
