Vance and Hines Big Shots Review ?
I have a tough time finding anything with this forum search engine since there are threads that are 700+ long with rarely any focus.
So...for you guys that run the big shots full system. , what are your review on your system. Pros, Cons, preferred baffles and tuner, sounds, install, and any other helpful additional info?
Lots of threads on 2 to 1s, not much on the big shots. Hopefully this thread will help others looking for info on this system.

35,000 miles on my Fat Bob with Big Shots, RSD high flow AC, and SEPST. Runs flawlessly with great sound. Standard baffles are loud and crisp...but nice. The quiet baffle is not much quieter, but it takes the edge off which I like on longer rides. I did not notice a performance hit between the two baffles. Great pipes.

I ran a ProPipe for years. Switched to Big Shot Staggereds last spring and like the sound. I installed the quiet baffles. It made it a little deeper sound, which is cool. but I can't say that they're all that much quieter.
My fuel mileage actually got better by several mpg. I have not retuned it yet. (Power Commander III).

I removed the baffles and installed DK Custom Thunder Torque Inserts on each install I've done, the TTI's improve low and mid range performance further along with deepening the tone of the pipes and go a long way to preventing reversion in the pipes. The pipes are not louder, but rather deeper in tone. No decel popping or burbling, smooth throttle response, power top to bottom, and decent mileage. Futzing along on the occasional group ride mileage is 50 - 52, out alone blasting in the twisties it drops to 42 - 44 but spends quite a bit of time at the high end of the RPM's My average is 47 - 48 MPG.
Love these pipes
